Dab, Don’t Rub: Carefully dab the stained area. Do not rub vigorously, as this can damage the fibers of the yarn and alter the texture.
Rinse: Use a second clean, damp cloth to dab away any soap residue.
Air Dry: Allow the toy to air dry completely. You can gently squeeze out excess water with a towel. Do not hang it up, as this can stretch the shape.
For Deeper Cleaning (Hand Washing Only):
Hand Wash: Fill a basin with cool water and a small amount of mild, pH-neutral soap.
Submerge Gently: Place the plush toy in the water and gently squeeze it to help the soapy water penetrate. Do not twist, wring, or stretch the toy.
Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the toy multiple times under cool, running water until all soap is gone.
